TREKKING ON DIFFERENT TEA TRAILS
Madams walk: Follow the footsteps of the early Planting ladies.
Elephants Hills walk: A brisk walk to the hilltop for a panoramic view.
Planters walk: A longer walk through the Tea fields. The Planters daily round.
THE TEA TOUR
A morning visit to the Tea Nursery where the young Tea plants are propagated, followed by a visit to the fields where tea plants of different stages of growth may be seen. On to the Mature Tea Fields under plucking. Guests will be encouraged to pluck the tea leaves which will be sent to the factory for processing. the following day.
A VISIT TO THE FACTORIES
Learn the intricacies of Tea Manufacture- the difference between Orthodox and CTC Black Tea manufacture as well as master the nuances of Tea Tasting and how to brew a perfect cup of black tea.
LUNCH AT BUNGALOW
A visit to the Floriculture Unit where Anthurium plants are raised. Alongside is the Vermiculture Unit as we produce Vermicompost for the future when we turn fully Organic. A drive through the Oil Palm, Coffee and Rubber fields.
AFTERNOON AT PLANTERS CLUB
Relax in the Recreation Centre (Old Club House). A well stocked Library. Indoor Board games for all ages, Billiards, Table Tennis and Chess. Outdoor Badminton or Tennis on the last surviving Clay tiled courts. Tea served at the Old Club House
